Platelet Rich Plasma, or PRP, is an injectable cosmetic treatment. It has become prevalent due to its ability to naturally rejuvenate the skin and repair the signs of aging by using your platelet-rich blood cells. The plasma component of the blood contains stem cells and growth-rich platelets. When injected back into the skin, it accelerates the body’s natural collagen and elastin production to provide overall skin rejuvenation and hair growth.
The pros of this treatment include:
- Reduces spider veins
- Reduces the appearance of large pores
- Reduces acne scars
- Evens skin tone
- Improves the appearance of wrinkles
- It gives the skin a radiant glow
- Firms and smooths skin texture
- Lightens sunspots
PRP has been used in the hospital system and sports medicine for its effective wound healing properties since the 1970s. PRP effectively rejuvenates your skin around the eyes, scars, facial lines and wrinkles, hair restoration, and neck. PRP is great for patients concerned by areas of skin that are reducing in elasticity and volume. It’s also an effective method for stimulating your body’s cells to produce new, healthy-looking skin and hair.
PRP Facial Injections
Diminish the noticeable wrinkles and fine lines for a youthful appearance. Boost your collagen production and tighten your skin and get the whole revitalization. PRP is versatile because it can safely be used beneath the eyes and other delicate areas.
PRP for Hair Restoration
Regenerate your hair growth with a noninvasive technique. The growth factors from your platelets and plasma stimulate new hair growth by producing collagen and renewing tissues. The hair on your scalp will quickly bloom with this natural treatment. Since each patient’s condition differs during the consultation, we can determine whether you’ll need vitamins and vitamin D added to your treatment for optimal results.
To see results of PRP, you’ll need two to six monthly treatments scheduled. The procedure takes 1 hour and thirty minutes to perform.
Add on: Red Light Therapy for follicle stimulation.
